The 90-north educational program, although
easily applicable to all ages, aims to engage the younger mind
- specifically students of elementary grades - with the intent
of giving them a cognitive advantage. The in-classroom programs
will serve as a dynamic multidisciplinary introduction to polar
science and its relationships with other fields of study such as
geography, biology, history and even mathematics - all of which
are the basic foundation for further learning.
The following are a sampling of what 90-north offers categorized
by subject. New plans will be added as the program expands. Each
individual plan can stand alone or be combined with any other,
however, the unique concept is the flexibility which 90-north
provides by working directly with each school or teacher to custom-design
a program which precisely fits into the particular class curriculum
thereby enhancing the lesson's educational value.
